Not only do we have a strong presence in the Star Wars: Old Republic universe our numbers are growing in the Star Trek Online too. 
Following a somewhat troublesome launch in February 2010 the developer Cryptic Studios was consequently sold by Atari to China-based Perfect World who in late 2011 decided what Star Trek Online would relaunch as a Free2Play MMO, in the same manner as 116th favorite game World of Tanks.

Since the relaunch as a Free2Play MMO Star Trek Online have seen a massive up heave in player numbers, actually to the point where "To boldly go..." no longer is valid since you will find fellow players in even the most remote part of the game. 
The 116th makes its presence know through our Fleet called Windhund and we are always looking for more members to join us in our space adventure.

A few words on game play, economics and cooperation in Star Trek Online: Getting all the way to level 50 (max) without paying a dime is quite easy and while there are ships in the credit store that you can buy you will likely find your four free ships quite adequate and fun, even in the end game.  
The game play is a mixed bag of space and ground battles where the space engagements feels more developed and by all means are the main focus of the game. The player cooperation is handled nicely by a "Match team level" feature that enables higher level players to cooperate and even replay missions with lower level friends without pulling them into to higher enemy NPCs.
Star Trek Online is not bug free but the majority of bugs are mission based and in most cases well documented with workarounds so if you bump into one just ask around and you will find a solution.
